NO ONE IS GOOD

In this currently world, there are different perspectives of viewing things. And At some point different debates arise because of differences in the interests, perspectives and how each and everyone views things. There are a lot of topics and discussions going on in this world, that has remained as dilemma in quite many centuries or even decades, and the end point all is left for everyone to decide to take one position or side, to stand on.

It's not bad to be in one side, because you cannot agree with all of the views, you either choose to stand firmly in one part. I have once been taught, “YOUR CHOICE IS BETTER THAN YOUR LIFE". So whatever side you choose to stand firmly according to your perspectives, reasoning and judgement, it's better to know that your choice determines how your life is or will be. The same goes to spiritual truths, you can hear and probably you have been hearing many things about some spiritual stuffs, and there has been a lot of debates concerning different religious topics and many of those debates has led to many misunderstandings and divisions in the body of Christ. It has led to many cults now in our times, this is probably (and actually that what it is) caused by What our Lord Jesus said”

Mark.12.24 :Jesus replied, "Your problem is that you don't know the Scriptures, and you don't know the power of God. (NLT) So failure to understand the scriptures, it is where all the errors comes, and this problem is not in our generation it has been since all that time, it has led to different misunderstanding and debates even among the Sadducee, pharesee, teachers of the law, scribes and Priests and most even in the high authority religious board Of the time, the Sanhedrin, which had highly respected individuals like Gamaliel, who have mastered on the book of the law and the mosaic law,..they had many debates at that time, which they did differ because of the error in understanding the scriptures.

There are lot of debates going on, but choosing the right side, is good for your spiritual growth, and the word of God is pure[psalm 12:6],truth and life[John 17:17,6:63],and God is not the author of confusion to give us his word to debate upon. No that's not it, God has given his word to us so that we take it as it is, for our growth and that we get life from it, it is through this word that we are edified, encouraged, exhorted, built up in faith,corrected,Rebuked,so that a man of God can be perfect.

[2 Tim 3:14-17 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that 1 the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. ]. God has not given us his word to debate upon, he has given us his word for that spiritual truth and advantages, approaching the scriptures properly will help us get all the nuggets that God has put in his word. Among the debates that goes on in our world, is about the goodness of God! Many people ask themselves if God is good, why this bad things,sickness,diseases,weakness,poverty,depressions,anxiety,wars,environmental calamities the Tsunamis, global warming, floods, and all chaos keep on happening, sins everywhere murders, fornications, adultery, the list is so long, so people ask “is God silent", "Is God still good??”,”is God punishing us as it was in the old testament??”... Many have gone to a point that the “God of Old Testament is very harsh and inhumane, “but the “God of New Testament is somehow lovable”. All these questions comes because we have never get to understand the scriptures, as Jesus said we error because we don't understand the scriptures neither know it's power, for the scriptures says God is the same yesterday , today, and tomorrow he is forever the same, his character is not changed by our circumstances, God is not surprised by what is happening now, because he is all knowing, he knows everything so our situation and our sins doesn't shock him and make him Panick and start to punish each and every one now, he is eternal God, his plans are eternal, That's Why he planned everything before time, as it was in the beginning so it is now, his plans is not swayed, or shaken each and every time.[Titus 1:2; in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time] ] So is God good or bad, is he harsh, does he change his character and act lovely in New Testament than the Old Testament!? To answer this we have to go back since our discussion has started, we have seen that there are a lot of debates, but the word of God is self-sufficient it doesn't need people's views to back it up, what the scriptures says is what it is.The same as many have accepted some scientific facts like one plus one is Two, or the influence of gravitational force when you throw something up in the sky it must fall down again! This has become the solid truth across the word and everyone understands that. The same has to be for the word of God, what it says is not affected by what someone thinks and perceive, for we are told in the scriptures 2Pet.1.20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (KJV)

So in the scriptures we don't have this is how Martin Luther says, or Keneth Hagin or Bill Graham, or apostle so and so, the way someone understands the scriptures in Tanzania has to be the Same as another brethren In another country, There is no private interpretation or personal revelation of the scriptures, all scriptures are interpreted by the directions and guiding of the Holy Spirit, and since he is not the author of confusion, we will all get the same message, as long as we have put our heart in a posture to receive from him, as it was for Jesus he was able to understand the message of the scriptures as one, that all the scriptures speak About him[Luke 24:25-27,44-],and we just see Apostle Paul says the same thing [Rom 1:1-5,1 Cor 15:1-4] so as we read we also have to get the same message. By so saying, how does the scriptures say About the goodness of God which should be the foundation truth for each and everyone in this earth and for all the heavens! Mark.10.17-18 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone. (NIV).

I'm always blessed that the scriptures has answers of what we need, and I really thank God for this Rich young man who asked a good question that unfortunately till now we still ask ourselves as whether God is good or bad!!,Jesus answered and what he said is what it is, and that has to be as it is, it shouldn't be changed by your perspectives, circumstances or currently situations or how you see the chaos and all the darkness that is this word. There's no one good in this word, not even One, regardless of how you see yourself or how you see some saints and great men and women of God, the scriptures declares that all men in this world are sinners no one does good not even one,[Rom 3:10].There remain one and only one true God who Is forever GOOD, he is good always that is his character and nature, God is not like we humans that at some point we act good, and nicely and especially to the people we love us, but God is good to all the creation[Matt 5:45-48], he is not changed by circumstances, and the sins that humans commit to anger him so he can bring disasters, like floods, Tsunamis, global warming, diseases like COVID 19..(He is a just God and surely when the appointed time comes he will judge both the just and the wicked). How can a good God use the weapons of the enemy to teach his beloved sons and daughters !?how can a good God give you diseases or sicknesses to test your royalty to him, or to punish your sins, or you wronged Him, and he choose to give you cancer so that you can repent!!!!selah. In the same word he teaches us that how can a bad tree gives good and desirable fruits! How! Matt.7.17 Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

How can a good God be both the giver of diseases and the healer,is he playing against us,is he changing!

The answer will always be NO, a big No…God is that good tree where all the good fruits,(healing,joy,peace,health,love, contentment, kindness, goodness,faithfulness,gentleness..etc) are within him,he just flows the rivers of those goodness to reach to everyone regardless of who he is[Matt 5:45],is a sinner or not,is he intelligent or layman…he is God of all and he is the author Of all what is GOOD. Jas.1.17 Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven's lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows. (NLT) Wow!so all good things are from the Lord almighty!, he alone is Good,he alone supplies this goodness to all humanity, he never changes,he is not like a shadow that is kept on changing as the direction of light falling in that object changes,God can not be like that,he can not be like a chameleon, changing it's color as the circumstances and the environment around it changes…God is forever the same,he is forever good and he desire to give his goodness to all people,he shines forth his blessings to all humanity and his goodness is forever running toward us,he desire that we all come to this point of understanding that he desire good things for each and everyone and that we come out of that deception that the enemy is imposing in our mind,that God is punishing you because you commit a certain sin,that God is making you strong to pass in that trial and problem,no God makes a way out of the trial,he gives you strength in the time of challenge and he wants everything to work for good especially for those who love him.[Rom 8:28a] I want you to grab this understanding that God is always good,forever good,he never changes,he is not a shadow or a chameleon to continously change his behaviour and character,his character and nature is that he is only one Good and he gives good and perfect gifts to all”. There's no debate in that there is one single answer, “No one is Good,only one and true God”.And we take what the scriptures say,as it is written.Choosing this knowledge, is choosing LIFE. Amen.
