Desperation all over me
And I found no one true
Pain covered me
I had a lot to go through

• People brought pain
  Efforts brought betrayal
  Hustles brought no gain
  The fight was so personal

• I tried several ways to find the true peace but never got one
  Sometimes i thought friends would do but nothing could they
  Thought maybe because i stay alone
  I tried to be  be around them but yet felt lonely
  

• Lonely,,total darkness
  Life wasn't worthy to live
  So I tried searching for happiness
  I tried searching for love
  But guess what,,there was no satisfactions
  Only complications
  

• Complications on the rules and expectations
  Doing expecting reward and attention
  All I gained was confusion
  Couldn’t understand what was real and fiction, too much fabrication

• Looked for mentors
  Looked for teachers
  They taught, they spoke, they lived I saw.
  But when it came to me practicing, I couldn't find a way for the seed to grow
  Pressure was too high
  Trying to get favor and fame
  Till when someone came
  And brought me a message of the most high
  

• The man was introduced to Me
  I had heard Him before but it never caught my attention
  But then the time had come

When Jesus meant it all and came in me

• The time I was accepting
  I didn’t know what i was doing
  Just wanted something to make me feel better
  I was even unsure of what will be next
  For I thought it would be like any other way I tried

• It made a difference
  It redefined my life
  It made sense of my existence
  Broke the chains that made my path rough
  

• Brought true joy in me
  Gave light to my path
  Assured me of my life and afterlife
  Gave me peace that the world doesn’t provide

• It was done by Jesus
  Am saved by Jesus
  Am now moving and walking with Jesus
  Am now living for Jesus
  

• Am now here and the fire is burning in me
  I can't settle till all here about this man
  How good He has been to me
  His mercy is far above everything
  And now for to me to live is Him

• He died for me and so I died with Him He rose again and so am alive in Him In deed not me anymore but Him I live for His glory He has made a fresh my story

• I will proclaim for He is Holy
  I will follow Him and live for Him
  And I now proudly say
  
  For to me to live is Christ
